Ok Bant, analogy.

You are in a circle of friends, close do a lot of things together and a mutual trust is gained. Then one of these friends leaves the group in a blizzard of fuss and emotion, taking with him the trust of the group and shitting on one of the basic principles. The reason that this person is leaving, is supposedly that the influence of YOU and YOUR circle of friends is negative and he is joining a monestary.

Then leap forward a month, he comes back to your circle to say hi. Only he wasn't in a monestary, but with another circle of friends doing something identical to what you are doing, just in a different location. Only didn't he say that this behaviour is destructive and not what god intedned him to do, continuing to do it would break the rules of his monestary and he woulcn't be able to be a friar (or whatever) if he did it.

Wouldn't that indicate that the little joining a monestary from the onset was utter fucking bullshit?

Um, I have lost and regained a lot of friends, be it they travel away or whatever, and usually its always nice to meet them again, no matter the way they left.

Okay, imo we should close this thread before it becomes a flame fest again.

If you have a problem with deacon, take it up with him on private tells.

look, i totally understand your problems with deacon, caleena and others, but still it gets old to see the same old people flame him on every post he makes isn't there a rule against flaming? Christ. Why not ban wolfe, caloss2, me, and everybody else from the forums?

I actually said that's how you 'sounded' bant, you have yet to prove otherwise.

Try not to confuse someones dedication to their friends as brown-nosing, just because other people have friends they care about does not make them brown-nosers.

Besides it's not like anyone is talking about you, the thread had moved to peoples feelings about someone else, hard as it may be for you, sometimes the subject of conversation _not_ you.

So to re-cap, this is _NOT_ about bant, deac has made contact with storm again and we are disscussing it, just because we don't actually agree with your view point does not make it about you, all clear now ?

Anyways, this is how I view it:

Noone of us benefits from "brownnosing" anything, whatever deacon does in another game is none of my business, im just commenting his latest story.

Now please take the personal attacks somewhere else.

If you wanna act professional (And this is after all the public part of the forum), try to keep the flaming to a minimum.

If I had a "lockdown" button on this part of the forum, I would have locked it.

I wasn't flaming, I read the story in fact. It would have been nice to have the 'old'feelings I had when I was reading Ricks posts and stories. Instead I was reading and realising that to know this much about said game, then to take the time to write the story for said game, this must mean that his story about giving up AO and MMOs was bullhit.

I was expressing how this post makes me feel... that is all.

Now you two stop being bitches or I will slap you both like one.

I'm not acctually flaming, accused of it yes, but my comments are my own feelings about deac, why bant has decided to make it about himself I can only guess, but if you want to get off-topic others know better than I how to do it.

In short as I stated, Rick still makes me laugh, but it is a bitter-sweet kind of way.
